DANGER PLACARD – old
A DANGEROUS placard is a “mixed load” identifier used in the United States and Canada to simplify the marking of vehicles carrying multiple types of hazardous materials. Instead of displaying several different class-specific placards, a carrier may use this single placard if certain weight and hazard criteria are met.

DANGER TDG TRUCK PLACARDS
Available in durable tagboard or adhesive-backed vinyl:
Tagboard – designed for use with standard placard holders on trucks and containers
Adhesive Vinyl – peel-and-stick option for direct application to surfaces
The DANGER placard is used as a mixed load identifier for transport units carrying multiple classes of dangerous
goods. Instead of displaying several individual class placards, this single placard may be used when specific TDG
weight and hazard criteria are met.
These placards are required under Transport Canada (TDG) regulations to clearly communicate the presence of
mixed hazardous materials to carriers, first responders, and the public.
